MIKE SCHMITT

Technical Project Manager

Mike Schmitt brings 16 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, along with an academic background in Business, Food Science, and Microbiology.

Mike’s career began at Kerry, where he held roles in QA, operations, R&D, and regulations. Schmitt then went on to lead QA at Wilcox Farms, then was hired by Darigold as their concept to commercialization food scientist. Most recently, Mike was a Technical Project Manager at Dohler North America. He currently serves on WSU’s External Advisory Board for the School of Food Science and the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences.
